Dr. Hermann Kaebnick (Retired) is a native of Ohio who began his vascular surgery practice in Louisville in 1987. He completed his vascular training at The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Kaebnick is board certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kaebnick is also registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a vascular technician.
Dr. Kaebnick’s surgical interests include surgery for the prevention and treatment of stroke, peripheral artery bypass procedures for arterial occlusive disease and aneurysms, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular surgery for stent-graft repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms and occlusive disease.
Dr. Kaebnick’s practice is primarily at Baptist Health Louisville where he is a co-director of the Non-Invasive Vascular Lab and Director of the Wound Care Center. He currently provides technical assistance and consultation for Endologix in regards to aortic stent graft treatment for aneurysmal disease.
